Our Processes
BARREL
Barrel plating involves placing the parts inside a polypropylene barrel. Inside each barrel are bars that conduct the electrical current. The barrel rotates slowly in the electrolytic plating solution, causing the parts to tumble and provide a uniform application. Barrel plating enhances corrosion protection and increases aesthetic appeal while protecting against wear and tear.

Rack
Rack plating differs from barrel plating in that the parts are hung to metal racks ensuring that the parts remain stationary upon immersion into the plating solution. Rack lines are preferred for delicate parts that might not withstand the tumbling or cascading action produced by barrel plating.
Rack plating also works well for large or complex components. In addition to affording increased production against damage to parts, the racking process can plate contours and intricate shapes more efficiently.
